"Taxi 2", a graceful comedy but without magic

Our opinion: good

One decade after its opening in Argentina, "Taxi 2" recovers in Buenos Aires in a version that contributes to the original piece some variants to him. History has been porteñizado, it is developed in districts characteristic of this city and logically the personages have local qualities.

Thus the work also loses the rate of the English original structure and characteristic humor. The comedy acquires then a very Argentine flavor. And if in I raise primary in "Taxi 2" do not concern psychologies of the personages, in this version that occupies a first plane.

It is certain that it is conceived from two successful figures of the means - Laport/Rodríguez- whose call is very popular and their worlds in the TV do not have anything to do with the strict game, but beyond that the material of Cooney is very effective - already occurred in this city samples of it and until it is a good training for any national actor.

Even so, this history of two friends and its respective families who appear romped by the lies of one of them - he are bigamist and their children, of different women, are in favor of conocerse- has very disfrutables moments, mainly because in elenco there are excellent comedians, like Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Laura Oliva, and an interpreter with much office as Alberto Fernandez de Rosa (he constructs an admirable father). While Queen Reech knows to comply in the style of the work, Osvaldo Laport continuously appears very lost in the plot. He does not manage to break his own emotional structure and to introduce themselves to play with desire. Sometimes he takes a dramatic expression that does not correspond because in truth, although he is a personage who enters a conflict situation, always accepted to arm traps that now carry problems to him. The exception occurs when it is masked behind different disguises. There one becomes extremely provoking and it silverplates it thanks for it. Both young - Jimena Baron and Thorny Facundo too much is stereotyped in their rolls of anxious enamoradizos adolescents. They load his bodies with all the tics of that generation and that returns them very little credible.

"Taxi 2" is an entertainment with little magic, but with something of grace.
