Our opinion: good

For the followers of the musical comedies, "Jazz swing tap" is panzada of well-known faces. There she is the one that did to the Velma of "Chicago", that that usually removes the best sparks to the pieces from Hugo Midón, that who we remained with desire to see in "Night club", the Tony Manero of "Fever of Saturday at night".

Thus, one could spend the hour and average that lasts east show enumerating or remembering to each one of raises them and lowers of the great stairs that dominate the scenic space. In certain way, casting is the first virtue of this spectacle and until it gives account, almost by elevation, of the great amount of potentialities that met in this musical comedy based on melodías famous, translated to the Castilian, that they immortalized Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland or Dorys Day, among others.

The fleeting boom of the musical comedies already happened and this now made possible the armed one of this show that is offered in the Broadway theater with the manual labor highly specialized, but without tempting supplies.

Clear that after to have seen Sandra Guida show all his artistic qualities in "Chicago" reduced to his wonderful voice, it is a true pain. The same idea could be applied to each one of the pieces that conform this spectacle that, although very has obtained moments and electrizantes, half of way is had left.

There is a data that seems fundamental: according to it consists in the hand program, "Jazz swing tap" counts on one coreógrafa (Elizabeth de Chapeaurouge), on an artistic coordinator (James Murray) and on a musical director (Gerald Gardelín), but anybody - apparently position has been made of the integral direction of the spectacle.

And that "detail" note because they lack governing ideas that the integral climate, the rate, the balance have worked and until a subtle dramatic art that makes engage in a dialog to each other to the pictures. They excel the parts (like when three pairs dance boring and goings almost "secret Love"), but the whole lacks a reflection greater than it harnesses the complex scenic game.

Swing in the Broadway

Anyway, in the precise game of the parts, Sandra Guida feels each song and has an admirable scenic presence. Until he gives the sensation of which they fall melodías to him of Glenn perfectly Miller, Cole Porter or Nat King Cole. Next to her, Elena Roger imposes his affection, his brazenness, his paste for the sort. Or Diego Reinhold, who, for want of one more a more powerful voice, removes to shine his enormous talent as comedian and dancer.

The three are accompanied by a rigorous body of dance, of which they love his, that is in all production that goes up to around the avenue Current. And like in those great productions, "Jazz swing tap" is dressed in abundance, with generosity. It is more, the room shows proud his great technical equipment (as in the number of "Master the piano", subject that made famous Liza Minnelli, with the spectacular Sandra Guida walking in the middle of beams of lights that gains the admiration of silverplates it).

The lovers of the sort surely will find choreographies the vibrant, a good dose of humor, close songs of the decades of the 30 to 50 and three excellent actors in scene. That is, a good passport for a good moment. Clear that it gives that to think that if those same elements more had been worked, "Jazz swing tap" would be a true luxury.
