The book "AntologíaPoetasRock" is a text selection written by musicians

In a flag done with old sheets, in a spent rower, a bank of school, a knapsack or a descascarada wall of a district anyone of Buenos Aires. The poetry rock is everywhere. And the young people are the people in charge to spread it and to transmit it with the same passion that, decades back, an adolescent could be hypnotized reading in a Current bar of the street texts of Oliverio Girondo, Leopoldo Marechal or Eduardo Galeano.

Thus the things, the rock letters could take the place from the poetry in century XXI? The book "AntologíaPoetasRock", compiled by the journalist and writer Gustavo Alvarez Núñez, who finishes publishing itself, tries a theory on the matter: the letters of rock like a relatively new language, that influences in the adolescents like no other literary sort.

Poems (the majority unpublished) and letters of Luis Alberto Spinetta, Charly Garci'a, Adrián Dárgelos (Babasónicos), Maria Fernanda Aldana (the Other I), Miguel Grandfathers, the Solari Indian and Andrés Calamaro, between many others, are crossed in this book and give to sample of the variety and the quality of the rockeras pens vernáculas.

The edition of this anthology agrees with the publication of several poem books written by rockers (to see box), that they found in the poetry a new space of expression. The compiler affirms that "the rock letters are a sort in itself and have their own identity. The subject is that there are letters of rock more poetic than others. In artists as Spinetta one can find poetry rock. However, most of the letters of Charly Garci'a they tend to be more descriptive, and to being one polaroid of a little while determined without as much flight nor metaphors ".

In the arduous task of finding a definition that approaches these two worlds, Daniel Melero remarca that "in the letter of a song (always an insolvent poem) attempt to put in a poetic context the poetry that locks up the daily thing in some of its scales".

Whereas Boom Kid Boom (the artist previously known like Nekro, of Fun People) is convinced that "the poetry helps to leave some registry of which really it was a time. In me, the poetry is a basic necessity like the one to eat. The fact to be writing something moved, until the moment at which I finish it and I publish it, is like being eating an enormous milk candy ice cream, something that lasts with pleasing ".

After nine years compiling the poems and the texts that appear in the anthology, Alvarez Núñez is convinced that, in certain point, the poetry of each one of the musicians approaches its idea of music. "If leés the poetry of Juan Pablo Fernandez, of the Small Reincidentes Orchestra, it give you to account of that has all that thing band. My influence

Without being its main objective, "AntologíaPoetasRock" also reveals the listing of poets and writers who have influenced throughout the years in these musicians at the most private moment for seating to write a letter. Thus, it is indicated that "the hermetic and heroic lírica of the Solari Indian has slanted references to Góngora and the poets of the Century of Spanish Gold"; that Adrián Dárgelos mixes in its songs to Thomas Pynchon and Marcelo Cohen, and who the poetry of Fito Páez would not be the same one if it had not read to Charles Bukowski and Osvaldo Lamborghini.

"He is interesting to draw up poetic through the different forms to write that they have the musicians - says Alvarez Núñez -. For example, the one of Catupecu Machu is rare, has its connection with Divided and, more back, Human Color. As well, Edelmiro Molinari appears recovered by artists like Dárgelos and Carca. Fito mixes to Spinetta and Garci'a well. Calamaro leaves Garci'a, but it goes away to Moris and of there to Dylan. And thus one can be shelling a species of genealogical tree of the poetry rock."

    The rock - that explosive, challenging and provoking music always needed from innovating in its vehicles of communication, with aesthetic gestures that exceed the combination sounds. And one of the channels most important to arrive at the other is the word. What it is said, which communicates, how the poetic one becomes....

    Be going to know one what is the poetry. What yes it can be known is that with the rock a new way was elaborated to arrive at the other, new forms to count a history. It had to develop new a poetic one. Elements were taken from the damn poets, the surrealistas, beatniks, the minimalistas. They were borrowed some formulas to combine them and to reach other that adapted to the new language.

    The rock is an alive culture and its change is constant. Although the words are more or less the same ones and the sensations are repeated in Dante, Dylan and the Solari Indian.

    Years ago, Hermeto Pascoal counted in a bar table that did not add words to its music, because the poems take their own melodía, its own rate. "Now, while we spoke, we make music", said.

    The poetry rock is another thing. The words comply in the agreed ones to help to count. For that reason there are musicians who also write poems; others, print a poetic one in their songs, and many accumulate words to arm one melodía.

    The rock is a cultural gesture. It is possible to be taken more or less in serious, but he is irremediable to fall in him when century is told the history of last means. In the rock there are things done with greater or smaller artistic responsibility, with greater or smaller quality, greater or smaller beauty. But development is a new language in the heat of and uses all the tools that it has by hand (the clothes, the plastic one, the technological advances, the tics of the time), even the word, the bridge that unites to us or it separates to us. Nor to speak when it is tried that, in addition, contains poetic pretensions. Or poetry.

    We can have a vague idea of which it is the rock, and perhaps never know what is the poetry. For centuries the poets have been looking for it in different circumstances, in different cultures, with varied points of view. Sometimes, Aldo Pellegrini found a definition: "Poetry is everything what it closes the door to them to the stupid idiot ones".
